The Seneca Lake Wine Trail and the Cayuga Wine Trail are beautiful just to drive, with or without stopping. Put on a playlist, head north from Watkins Glen, and stop at whatever winery sounds good when you pass the sign. No reservations, no itinerary. Just the road and the lake and the hills and the person in the passenger seat.
