$1 Summer Movies Are Back

The Regal Summer Movie Express returns for 2026 with one of the best lineups in years.

The Summer Movie Express program is returning for 2026, bringing eleven weeks of family-friendly favorites to over 380 theaters nationwide. Starting June 1 through August 13, participating Regal locations will host morning screenings every Monday through Thursday, midday… And tickets are just $1.00.

One dollar. Per ticket. For a movie theater. Every weekday morning all summer. An easy option for families wanting to get out of the house but stay out of the sun.

Since 1991, Regal has provided this budget-friendly entertainment option, and a portion of all admission proceeds benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. That dollar does a little extra good on its way out of your pocket.

The Full 2026 Lineup

These aren’t deep cuts. These are the films your kids have been asking to see again since they left theaters. This year’s schedule runs as follows:

Week 1 (June 1–4): Sing (2016) & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023)

Week 2 (June 8–11): Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024) & David (2025)

Week 3 (June 15–18): KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along (2025) & The Wild Robot (2024)

Week 4 (June 22–25): The Bad Guys 2 (2025) & The Garfield Movie (2024)

Week 5 (June 29–July 2): A Minecraft Movie (2025) & Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022)

Week 6 (July 6–9): How to Train Your Dragon (2025) & Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024)

The Snack Deal

All attendees of a Summer Movie Express title will receive $3.00 off a cup of Dippin’ Dots ice cream or a Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, popcorn, and fruit gummies. So the whole morning out stays very manageable for a budget.
